Moonstone

Moonstone is a gemstone from the feldspar mineral family known for its distinctive adularescence, a shimmering, milky-blue, or white glow that appears to roll across the gem’s surface when light interacts with its internal layered structure. Found in various colors and transparencies, with blue being a prized variety, moonstone also comes in “rainbow moonstone” (labradorite) and “cat’s eye” varieties.
